The Diamond Doodle Guardian Family Program offers a unique opportunity to raise an exceptional puppy from our breeding program in your loving home at no upfront cost. You'll help us continue ethical breeding practices while receiving the joy of a top-quality companion.

Your Responsibilities

Own your home or be a stable, long-term renter.

Keep the dog as an indoor pet with a secure, fenced yard.

Feed only approved diets (see below).

Provide socialization, daily care, and routine vet visits.

Transport the dog for health testing, breeding, or whelping appointments as needed.

Communicate heat cycles, travel, or emergencies right away.
Approved Diets
To maintain coat quality, energy levels, and gut health, Guardian Families must feed:

Purina Pro Plan (Sport or Sensitive Skin & Stomach): Trusted, vet-recommended, and ideal for long-term use.

Victor Hi Pro Plus: Preferred for active dogs and breeding moms needing calorie-dense support.
Switching brands must be approved in writing to keep your health guarantee valid.
​Breeding Process

Breeding typically starts after the second heat

We breed up to 4 times depending on health.

The dog returns to us for whelping and weaning (~8 weeks).

After retirement, the dog is spayed and becomes your pet permanently.
Compensation

Guardian Families receive a payment per successful litter.

Exact amount is discussed during your interview and outlined in your contract.
